These Terms and Conditions govern all live performance bookings. By engaging the services of the Musician, the Client agrees to the terms outlined below.
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement and a 50% deposit. Once the deposit has been received, the Musician is fully committed to the event and will reserve the agreed date and time exclusively for the Client. Dates are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and will not be held without payment.
A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking and confirm the Musician’s commitment to the event. The remaining 50% balance must be paid before the Musician’s arrival on the event date. If the outstanding balance has not reflected in the Musician’s account and no valid proof of payment is provided, the Musician reserves the right not to attend or perform.
Performance times, venue, and repertoire will be agreed upon in advance and confirmed in writing. Any changes must be approved by the Musician prior to the event.
The performance is limited strictly to the services outlined in the approved quotation. No scope creep or unapproved additions will be permitted.
Requests to extend performance time are subject to the Musician’s availability. Additional performance time will incur an on-the-spot fee, payable immediately before the extended performance begins.
Any required waiting time between performances must be disclosed at the time of booking and will be included in the quotation. Waiting time forms part of the total engagement.
The 50% deposit is retained as a booking and commitment fee in the event of cancellation by the Client. Cancellations made within seven (7) days of the event may result in the full performance fee becoming payable, due to the short notice and time reserved for preparation and performance.
The Client agrees to provide a safe and suitable performance environment, adequate space, appropriate lighting, and protection from adverse weather conditions for outdoor events.
The Musician will provide their own instrument and essential equipment unless otherwise agreed. Any additional technical requirements must be arranged in advance.
Neither party shall be liable for failure to fulfil their obligations due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to extreme weather, illness, power failures, or other unforeseen events.
The Musician reserves the right to use photographs and videos from the event for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Client.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. By accepting a quotation and paying the deposit, you confirm your agreement to these terms.
